Waterloo, 29th December 2023 – In a strategic move based on intelligence, the Local Unit Commander of Waterloo Police Division, CSP Mr. Joe Kamanda Bongay, personally led a successful operation resulting in the arrest of 33-year-old Chernoh Conteh from Masethleh village, Yoni Bana chiefdom, Tonkolili District, Northern Sierra Leone.
Conteh was apprehended with a newly acquired shotgun and two shotgun cartridges.
This comes on the heels of another arrest just three days prior (26th December 2023) in the Bondo Water community of 4 Mile in Waterloo, where another shotgun and multiple cartridges were seized.
