A joint police operation, carried out with the National President of Traditional Healers, Sheku Tarawallie, on Sunday, 16th November 2025, has led to the arrest of Sheku Dabor, a native traditional healer living at Limba Corner, 4 Mile, Newton.
The operation formed part of a coordinated random search on traditional healers across Freetown-West and Freetown-East, following intelligence reports linking some practitioners to potential illicit activities.
During the search at Dabor’s residence, officers reportedly discovered a Glock 17 pistol loaded with eight rounds, along with a communication handset and a red beret cap, items authorities describe as highly suspicious.
Dabor was immediately taken into custody and is assisting police with ongoing investigations.
