In a continued effort to clamp down on the illegal drug trade, the Calaba Town Police have arrested a man with a large quantity of suspected narcotics.
Acting on credible intelligence, the Officer Commanding Calaba Town Police Station, ASP Saccoh Kabbie Kharr, led an operation that resulted in the arrest of Abdulrahman Conteh, of No. 45 Kinson Road, Kissy.
The suspect was apprehended on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, after being brought to the attention of police by an informant.
A search conducted during the arrest uncovered five hundred and sixty (560) wraps of dried leaves believed to be Kush, a synthetic drug that has become a growing concern nationwide.
Following the arrest, both the suspect and the exhibits were transferred to the Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU) for further investigation.
