In a decisive move to combat the illicit trade and consumption of dangerous substances like Kush and Marijuana, the Operations team of Aberdeen Police Division executed a raid on Aces and Tambacular Wharf Axis on Sunday, July 30, 2023, around 21:00 hours.
The targeted operation resulted in the arrest of Momoh Jusu from Dance Troop Aberdeen, who was found in possession of a considerable amount of suspected Kush and Marijuana without lawful authority. The suspect and the confiscated drugs have been handed over to the CID for further investigation.
During the raid, the Aberdeen Police Division also took the opportunity to engage with young men who appeared to be homeless, educating them about the perils of drug abuse.
This community outreach effort aims to foster awareness and safeguard the well-being of the Aberdeen community.
As a result of the concerted efforts by the police, Aberdeen continues to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere.
