The Youth Network for Better Change, working in collaboration with officers of the Gbangbatoke Police Division, has arrested a man identified as Abdul Lebbeh for the alleged possession of a significant quantity of suspected Kush in Gbangbatoke Town, Southern Sierra Leone.
According to police sources, Lebbeh was found with four hundred and thirty-two (432) wraps of the substance during the joint operation.
He was immediately taken into custody along with the seized items.
Both the suspect and the exhibits are currently being held at the Moriba Police Station while investigations are underway.
The arrest forms part of ongoing community-led efforts to curb the circulation and abuse of Kush in the region.
Authorities say more operations are expected in the coming days.
