Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs has appointed Kasho J. Holland-Cole, Chairman of Western Area Rural District Council as Chairman of the National Taskforce on Drugs and Substance Abuse.
The Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs serves as the Pillar Lead for community engagement on the National Task Force on Drugs and Substance Abuse, with focus on the Kush Epidemic.
Mr. Holland-Cloe’s job will focus on managing and fighting against Kush in the Western Area Rural District. In his capacity, he will enforce response in the district and coordinates resources, human, financial and assets of the Taskforce.
He will be working with the City Mayor who will serve as the Co-Chair and the District Medical Officer who will serve as the Deputy Chair, to operate and manage the Response in the district.
