In a shocking turn of events, Ismael Sheriff, Principal Assistant to former President Ernest Bai Koroma, has revealed to BBC’s Umaru Fofana that an official bodyguard to the ex-president was fatally shot.
The incident occurred at the Freetown residence of the former head of state, who was fortunately not present during the attack.
Sheriff disclosed that another state-supplied guard was abducted by loyalist forces.
