In a decisive move, J&F Investments SL Ltd has dismissed Fatmata Bangura, a customer attendant at the Conex Filling Station in Lungi.
The termination follows an incident where Bangura was recorded in a heated argument with customers, during which she reportedly used inappropriate and insulting language.
The termination letter, signed by Managing Director John A.S. Sesay, emphasized that Bangura’s behavior was entirely unprofessional and breached the company’s ethical standards.
“Your employment with J&F Investments (SL) Ltd as Customer Attendant is therefore terminated with immediate effect,” the letter declared.
It further instructed Bangura to return all company property, including uniforms, to Station Manager Alhassan Kargbo without delay.
In related developments, the Petroleum Regulatory Agency took stringent actions against two Conex gas stations in Lungi, Port Loko District.
The agency has sealed and suspended their operating licenses pending further investigation. This enforcement action aims to ensure that oil operators prioritize public interest and comply with their licensing obligations.
One of the Conex gas stations has been fined NLe50,000 for significant violations of industry regulations, with its license suspension taking effect immediately.
These measures reflect a broader effort to uphold industry standards and enforce regulatory compliance.
