The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Sierra Leone has issued a wanted notice for Anwar Michael Seisay and Tejan Kargbo, senior officials from the Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Agency.
They are implicated in allegations of misappropriation of public funds and conspiracy to commit corruption.
Anwar Michael Seisay, a procurement officer living in Tengbeh Town, Freetown, is accused of misappropriating public funds and conspiring to commit a corruption offence.
These charges fall under Sections 36 (1) and 128 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Act of 2008, amended in 2019.
The ACC urges anyone with information about Seisay’s whereabouts to contact them at +23277-985-985, +23277-986-986, or report to the nearest police station.
Similarly, Tejan Kargbo, the assistant finance officer residing in Kissy, Freetown, faces the same charges.
The ACC is also seeking public assistance in locating Kargbo. Information can be reported via the same contact numbers or to the nearest police station.
