Air Sierra Leone is a flag carrier airline, not a national carrier, but it will serve as the country’s primary airline for regional and international flights. The airline is based in Sierra Leone and will connect major West African cities along with a direct flight to London’s Gatwick Airport.

Flight Routes and Schedules

Air Sierra Leone will operate flights to several key destinations, including:

– Abidjan (Ivory Coast)

– Accra (Ghana)

– Monrovia (Liberia)

– Banjul (The Gambia)

– Dakar (Senegal)

– Conakry (Guinea)

– London Gatwick (UK)

Flights to London will operate three times a week:

– From Freetown to Gatwick: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 10:40 AM.

– From Gatwick to Freetown: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:00 PM.

Aircraft and Ticket Pricing

The airline will use the Boeing 737 Max 8 for the London route. The aircraft, which is relatively new at 1.6 years old, will make the journey in approximately six hours. Tickets for the London route are priced at $999, but there is a promotional offer of $750 for early buyers, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Air Sierra Leone will operate with three aircraft configurations: 50-seater, 149-seater, and 189-seater planes, catering to different route demands.
