Freetown, Sierra Leone – August 7, 2025 – The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of a six-member Ad-Hoc Transition Committee tasked with managing the administrative handover process following the recent elections.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, the decision was approved during an official sitting of the newly elected SLFA Executive Committee held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The move is in line with Article 34(d) and Article 55 of the SLFA Statutes.
The Transition Committee, which will operate from August 8 to August 22, 2025, has been mandated to ensure a smooth and professional changeover within the football governing body.
The team will work in close collaboration with the Executive Committee and key stakeholders to facilitate the process.
The members appointed to the Transition Committee include:
* Dr. Isaac Massaquoi – Chairman
* Mr. Sirajin Munirr Rollings Kamara – Vice Chairman
* Mr. George Moore – Member
* Madam Isha Bawoh Esq. – Member
* Mr. Mans Davies – Member
* Mr. Tanu Jalloh – Secretary to the Committee
SLFA President Babadi Kamara reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance, describing the formation of the committee as a “crucial step in laying a solid foundation for the new leadership.”
The SLFA expressed confidence in the committee’s capacity, citing the professionalism and integrity of its members as instrumental to the success of the transition.
