The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has revealed plans to upgrade travel arrangements for the country’s national football teams with the introduction of brand-new, state-of-the-art buses.
These customized vehicles, designed for the Senior Men’s and Women’s National Teams as well as the Junior Boys and Girls Teams, aim to enhance comfort and safety as the teams represent Sierra Leone on the international stage.
According to the SLFA, the buses are set to arrive in the first week of December 2024, marking a significant milestone in the development of football infrastructure in the country.
The initiative underscores the SLFA’s commitment to advancing the sport under the leadership of President Thomas Daddy Brima. With a focus on creating a supportive and inspiring environment for players, the association continues to prioritize investments that foster growth and excellence.
“These buses are more than just a means of transport,” stated SLFA. “They symbolize progress, unity, and a bright future for Sierra Leonean football.”
The SLFA also extended gratitude to FIFA, fans, and the wider football community for their support in strengthening the foundation of the game in Sierra Leone.
