In a recent operation at the Bontiwo Checkpoint, police officers detained three individuals on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
The arrested individuals are Bockarie Sulaima of Olando Street, Torkpoi Town, Bo, Baimba Kemoh of Dukor Village, and Abdulraman Shaw of 4B Kaisamba Teris, Kenema.
They were found in possession of 93 compressed parcels of Cannabis-Sativa, each weighing 50 kilograms, along with a quantity of Kush.
These arrests are part of a broader crackdown on illicit substances, including Cannabis-Sativa, Tramadol, Kush, and Ecstasy.
The Sierra Leone Police urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious drug-related activities, emphasizing their unwavering commitment to eradicating the illegal drug trade.
