In a press release dated 8th November 2023, the Ministry of Defence and the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (MOD/RSLAF) addressed a misleading social media post concerning the purported 2023/2024 recruitment application forms for the RSLAF.
The public is cautioned against the fake documentation circulating on social media, as neither the MoD nor the RSLAF has officially released any such information.
The Ministry emphasizes that this misinformation aims to tarnish the esteemed image and credibility of the RSLAF.
Colonel Issa Bangura, Director of Defence Public Relations & Information, asserted that the public will be duly notified of any authentic recruitment activities when they arise.
