Freetown, Sierra Leone – 17 June 2025 – QNET, a global lifestyle and wellness-focused direct selling company, has officially launched its “QNET Against Scams” campaign in Sierra Leone.
The initiative is aimed at educating the public and raising stakeholder awareness about fraudulent activities involving the misuse of the QNET brand.
“QNET Against Scams” Campaign Rolls Out in Sierra Leone
This nationwide campaign will leverage a variety of communication channels, including television, radio, online news platforms, social media, print media, and billboards across Sierra Leone. Billboards will be installed at strategic locations in Freetown, with similar installations planned for Bo, Makeni, Kenema, and other major towns. Meanwhile, radio, television, print, and online media announcements are expected to ensure the campaign reaches every corner of the country.
Fighting Scams Is a Shared Responsibility
Mr. Biram Fall, Regional General Manager for QNET, emphasized the significance of the campaign:
“We have successfully launched the same campaign in Ghana and Senegal, and the feedback has been phenomenal. People are gaining a better understanding of our products and business model. This public education and media campaign is part of our deliberate strategy to aggressively combat the misrepresentation and misuse of the QNET name in Sierra Leone. We must unite to stand against those defrauding innocent Sierra Leoneans. Awareness is our most powerful weapon in this fight,” he stated.
Mr. Fall highlighted the campaign’s four main objectives:
1. Raise public awareness about QNET’s legitimate business operations and products.
2. Educate individuals on how to identify and avoid scams misrepresenting the QNET brand.
3. Collaborate with law enforcement and government agencies to bring perpetrators to justice.
4. Reinforce QNET’s commitment to transparency and ethical business practices.
“QNET is about empowerment, not exploitation. We are standing firm against scams and all forms of brand misrepresentation in Sierra Leone,” Mr. Fall concluded.
