Freetown, Sierra Leone – The Office of the President has announced significant appointments to the leadership of the Sierra Leone Correctional Service.
In a public notice issued from State House, His Excellency President Brigadier (Rtd) Dr. Julius Maada Bio has appointed Mr. Joseph J. Senesi as the new Director-General of the Sierra Leone Correctional Service. Alongside him, Mdm. Susan B. Coker has been named Deputy Director-General.
The appointments are part of the President’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s correctional system and ensure effective leadership in the sector.
The announcement was conveyed by Dr. Emmanuel A.R. Gaima, Secretary to the President.
These new appointments take effect immediately, with expectations of improved service delivery and reform within the correctional system.
