The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) Conrad Sackey is set to officially announce the results of the 2024 National Primary School Examination (NPSE) today.
This announcement was made by the Minister via social media earlier this morning.
In his post, Minister Sackey stated, “I am pleased to inform you that the 2024 NPSE results will be officially announced today at noon on SLBC TV. This moment marks a significant milestone in the academic journey of our young learners across Sierra Leone.”
The Minister highlighted the importance of this event, encouraging the public to tune in for the official announcement.
“I encourage everyone to tune in to SLBC TV as we unveil the results and celebrate the achievements of our hardworking pupils. Their success is a testament to the dedication of our teachers, the support of parents, and the resilience of our education system,” he added.
The NPSE, which was held on May 4, 2024, saw participation from over 164,000 pupils across the country, with 83,523 girls and 80,855 boys sitting for the exams at 310 centers nationwide.
As anticipation builds for the results, Minister Sackey urged the public to remain patient and continue supporting Sierra Leone’s young learners.
“Let us continue to invest in and prioritize education as the foundation for the future leaders of our great nation. Together, we can build a brighter future for Sierra Leone,” he concluded.
