The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) has on a press release issued today revealed details surrounding the alleged theft of Electronic Tablets from its warehouse in Wellington, Freetown.
According to the Commission, they received a report on the incident in October 2023.
ECSL added that they swiftly reported the matter to the Sierra Leone Police (SLP), initiating a thorough investigation that led to the apprehension of several suspects.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) concluded its inquiry, resulting in charges being filed and the case being brought before the court.
