In a significant development, the government of Sierra Leone has announced revised curfew hours, effective from today, Monday, December 11, 2023. The updated curfew will commence at 12:00am (midnight) and conclude at 6:00am.
This is according to a public notice issued by Chernor A. Bah, Minister of Information and Civic Education.
The government expresses gratitude to the public for their ongoing cooperation and extends special thanks to those who have actively contributed information and support in the pursuit of justice for the failed coup and other atrocities that occurred on November 26th, 2023.
Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police.
The Ministry of Information and Civic Education assures the public of continued timely updates on the security situation.
