Kenema City’s esteemed Mayor, Thomas Karimu Baio, has spearheaded efforts to bring peace and reconciliation in the recent dispute involving LAJ, the acclaimed Hip Hop Rapper and Peace Ambassador of Sierra Leone.
Reports reveal that the intervention of influential figures such as Former NRA Commissioner General Chief Ibrahim Brima Swaray and the former President of Sierra Leone All Stars Union Base Aphonyx, alongside DJ Snow, proved instrumental in facilitating dialogue and resolving the accusations of assault and threats directed at Boss La by the Mayor of Kenema City Council.
Following days of heightened tension subsequent to his detention on allegations of assault and threats, Boss La has been granted release from police custody today.
Boss La had been held in police custody in Kenema after he was accused of assault and threats by the Mayor of Kenema City Council.
The rapper was in Kenema for a show that was eventually cancelled following the confrontation with the Mayor.
Earlier this year, President Julius Maada Bio appointed the controversial rapper as Peace Ambassador after he was released form prison for robbery charges among others.
