Freetown, October 27, 2023 – The United States Embassy in Freetown, Sierra Leone, has informed the inform the public that the American Center, located at the embassy premises, will be temporarily closed from Monday, October 30, through Wednesday, November 01.
The Embassy notes that the center will resume normal operations on Thursday, November 02, at 9:00 AM.
In the meantime, visitors and patrons are encouraged to explore other American Spaces within Freetown. These alternatives include:
Africell American Corner: Located at 25 Bathurst Street.
American Shelf: Situated at Fourah Bay College.
American Corner, Kissy: For those in the Kissy area.
The Embassy apologized for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and look forward to welcoming visitors back at the American Center on November 02.
