Freetown, July 7, 2024 – In a tragic incident that has left the community in shock, an unidentified man was found dead near the car wash at Fourah Bay College’s Mountain Aureole campus early this morning.
The body was discovered by students around 6:30 AM. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the man lying motionless, prompting them to alert campus security and the local authorities.
The police arrived at the scene shortly after and cordoned off the area for investigation.
According to initial reports, there were no immediate signs of foul play. However, the authorities have not ruled out any possibilities and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
The man’s identity remains unknown as he had no identification on him at the time of discovery.
The police have appealed to the public for any information that could assist in identifying the deceased and determining the circumstances leading to his death. Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest police station.
As the investigation continues, the community remains on edge, hoping for answers and closure.
