Antalya, Turkey – April 10, 2025 – Sierra Leone’s President, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, has arrived in Antalya to participate in the highly anticipated Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), which runs from April 11 to 13.
Accompanied by First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Chief Minister Hon. Dr. Moinina Sengeh, President Bio was warmly welcomed upon arrival.
Antalya’s Governor, Mr. Hulusi Sahin, along with Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Turkey, Her Excellency Francess Virginia Anderson, and Deputy Ambassador Paul A.S. Minah, led the reception alongside senior officials from Sierra Leone’s diplomatic mission.
The ADF is a major international conference that gathers around 3,000 participants, including world leaders, diplomats, and scholars, to discuss pressing global issues, diplomatic strategies, and economic cooperation.
President Bio’s participation underscores Sierra Leone’s commitment to global dialogue and international partnerships.
