In a glowing endorsement of Sierra Leone’s national carrier, four renowned Nigerian superstars—Desmond Elliot, Mommy Chichi, Elijah Ogann, and Neo—touched down today Wednesday May 7, 2025 at the Freetown International Airport aboard Air Sierra Leone, heaping praise on the airline for its outstanding service.
Their arrival marks a significant milestone for Air Sierra Leone, as the high-profile delegation commended the airline’s top-tier in-flight experience, noting the unmatched comfort, warm hospitality, and delectable cuisine served during the flight from Lagos.
Desmond Elliot, a respected Nigerian Parliamentarian and celebrated actor and filmmaker, led the delegation. His visit follows a strategic partnership sealed on Monday, May 5, 2025, between a leading Nigerian movie production company and its Sierra Leonean counterpart—an initiative that aims to boost regional cultural exchange and film collaboration.
“This is my first time flying with Air Sierra Leone, and I must say, I was truly impressed,” said Desmond Elliot. “From takeoff to landing, the crew was professional, the food was exceptional, and the overall experience was world-class.”
Air Sierra Leone has been steadily enhancing its services, aiming to become the airline of choice within the West African sub-region. The arrival of these prominent Nigerian figures on board its aircraft underscores growing confidence in the airline’s expanding footprint and service excellence.
The celebrities are expected to participate in a series of engagements and collaborative projects during their visit. They will be officially received by their hosts in Freetown within the hour.
