About Mpox
Mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, is a viral illness characterized by a painful rash, enlarged lymph nodes, fever, headache, muscle aches, back pain, and low energy. While most individuals recover fully, some cases can lead to severe illness. The virus spreads through close contact with an infected person or animal, or with contaminated materials. Preventive measures include practicing good hygiene, avoiding contact with potentially infected individuals or animals, and following public health guidelines.
