The Mansa Global Foundation has demonstrated its commitment to supporting vulnerable and underprivileged people by providing food to people living on the streets of Freetown.
The humanitarian outreach brought relief to individuals and families facing hardship, offering them food and a moment of care, dignity and hope.
Speaking with the Founder and the Executive Director of the foundation Musa Serry popularly known as Preso T-Wise who is currently residing in Canada noted that, the initiative is part of the Foundation’s efforts to respond to the needs of vulnerable members of society, particularly people who struggle to meet their basic daily needs.
Speaking during the outreach, the charity lead of the Mansa Global Foundation madam Isatu Wiski Samura emphasized the importance of compassion and community support, noting that no one should be forgotten because of poverty or difficult circumstances.
The Foundation’s intervention comes at a time when many vulnerable people in Freetown continue to face challenges associated with food insecurity, unemployment and limited access to basic necessities.
The food distribution also served as a reminder that humanitarian assistance does not always have to involve large resources. Small acts of kindness, when organized consistently, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing hardship.
The Mansa Global Foundation called on individuals, businesses, organizations and other development partners to support initiatives aimed at helping vulnerable communities.
Whiles responding to the media the project director of the foundation Michael Bangura Jr. says that the Foundation believes in collective action, compassion and responsible citizenship, communities can contribute to building a more caring and inclusive Sierra Leone, he said. He revealed that the foundation catered for over 150 beggars in the street of Freetown.
The outreach ended with appreciation to everyone who contributed to making the food distribution possible, while beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the assistance.
