Freetown, Sierra Leone – A Sierra Leone Police Tribunal has convicted four police officers on charges of improper conduct that undermines the discipline of the force.
The officers were found guilty of involvement in two robbery incidents in Taiama and Kenema in August 2024.
Following the tribunal’s decision on Thursday, 5th September 2024, the convicted officers have been recommended for immediate dismissal.
They have also been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department South for further criminal investigations.
