On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) engaged in a productive meeting with the Cross-Party Committee on Electoral Systems and Management Bodies Review, known as the Tripartite, at New Brookfields Hotel.
Leading the ECSL delegation was Chief Electoral Commissioner and Chairman Mr. Mohamed Kenewui Konneh, accompanied by all Commissioners and several senior management staff.
The Tripartite committee expressed their appreciation for the leadership of the ECSL, highlighting the Commission’s cooperation.
“We commend the ECSL for their collaborative spirit and commitment to transparency,” a representative of the committee stated.
Mr. Konneh reaffirmed the Commission’s dedication to working closely with the committee, emphasizing, “The ECSL is fully committed to cooperating with the Tripartite Committee at all times, upholding the principles of good governance.”
