On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 9:00 AM, Police intercepted a truck at the Wanjama Checkpoint along the Bo-Kenema Highway, seizing 71 parcels and 7 bales of substances strongly suspected to be Cannabis Sativa.
The truck, registered as AJM 150, was reportedly transporting the illicit cargo from Moyamba Junction to Kenema.
Law enforcement officials arrested Haja Bundu, a resident of Burma One in Kenema, in connection with the incident.
An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
