Vice President of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh expressed his joy and gratitude as he was appointed as the Head of the National Electoral Systems Review Committee by President Julius Maada Bio.
The announcement was made during President Bio’s Address to the Parliament of Sierra Leone, where he outlined the country’s transformative BIG FIVE priorities for the next five years, drawing positive responses from all corners.
Vice President Jalloh conveyed his honor and privilege to be entrusted with such a crucial responsibility in deepening Sierra Leone’s democratic culture.
He expressed his commitment to collaborate with development partners and Civil Society Organisations in order to bolster and fortify the nation’s electoral process.
“I am delighted, thankful and committed to working with development partners and Civil Society Organisations to strengthen Sierra Leone’s Electoral process,” he said.
As the newly appointed leader of the Committee, Vice President Jalloh’s dedication and vision are poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the electoral landscape of Sierra Leone.
