Just days after a deadly thunderstorm shocked the district, another thunder strike has been reported in Koidu City this evening, leaving residents on edge and raising more concerns across the community.
While no casualties have been officially confirmed at this time, eyewitnesses described a powerful bolt followed by a loud explosion that shook nearby buildings.
Locals are calling on the government, meteorological agencies, and traditional authorities to investigate and respond swiftly to what many now believe could be more than just natural weather activity.
Traditional leaders have once again hinted at inviting Ariyogbo then BosS, the spiritual arm of justice, to further probe the cause of repeated thunder-related incidents.
“People are living in fear. We need answers and protection,” said one concerned resident.
Authorities are urging calm and advising the public to take shelter during storms, as investigations continue.
