The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) have officially declared Patricia Mansaray, a resident of Sugar Land in the Goderich area of western Freetown, a wanted person following a major discovery at her home.
During a coordinated search operation at the property, officers recovered a large quantity of substances believed to be illicit narcotic drugs, together with several firearms and quantities of ammunition.
Authorities say the find has triggered an intensive manhunt for Ms. Mansaray, who is believed to have fled the residence prior to the raid.
Ms. Mansaray, who holds Sierra Leonean passport number ER202151, is known to travel frequently. Records show regular trips to China, Nigeria, and Liberia in recent years.
Police sources described the seizure as “significant” and indicated that investigations are ongoing into possible links to organized drug trafficking and illegal arms networks.
The SLP has urged members of the public with information on Patricia Mansaray’s whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) headquarters in Freetown. Anyone found harboring the suspect risks arrest and prosecution.
A police spokesperson confirmed that the wanted notice has been circulated nationwide and to regional law-enforcement partners.
Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
