In a swift and intelligence-led operation, detectives from the East End Police Division, raided the Cow Yard Market on Hagan Street on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Iye Jozy, a notorious kush dealer also known as the “Mammy Queen” of Kent Street, and her errand boy, Hamza Osman Kamara, a resident of Mammy Yoko Street.
During the raid, officers recovered a significant quantity of suspected kush, weighing 780 raps and 280 raps respectively.
The seized exhibits were taken into custody and handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department at the East End Police Station for further investigation.
