The National Union of Cinema Operators in Sierra Leone has announced a hike in ticket prices for viewing football matches at Sports Centers nationwide.
According to a public notice issued by the Union, the new prices are effective immediately.
For European League matches, the ticket price has increased from NLe4 to NLe5. Viewing the Champions League group stage will now cost between NLe5 and NLe7, depending on the match.
Tickets for final matches across all competitions have seen the most significant increase, now priced at NLe10.
The Union attributed the price hike to escalating operational costs, stating that the adjustments were necessary to continue providing quality services to football fans.
This decision is expected to impact football enthusiasts who frequent these centers to watch live matches.
