Reconnecting the Past with the Present. The David Moinina Sengeh Way

By: Mohamed Lamin Esq

To the utmost dismay of everyone, Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh shocks the World as he cuts off his dreadlocks.

The Radical Inclusion champion in a video clip affirms that the decision to rid of the locks is a personal one and he did it because he wanted to.

His intention according to him is as a result of his desire to reconnect with his innocent years and that was why he asked his barber to look at an image when he was younger and give him the same hairstyle.

For Dr. Sengeh, the decision was also a way of reconnecting with his roots. It is a change he had long anticipated, as he had on many occasions been mistaken for a woman whilst on official and unofficial functions.

He however maintained that his locks had nothing to do with his spirit of delivering on his duties and as such would not affect his works in anyway.

The Chief who recently gave an address at the UNSC in America on the issue of global security has left many of his fans agape with his fond new looks. Not only does he appear young, but also enigmatic and charming.
