FREETOWN – The National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) has officially announced the relocation of its headquarters and the Directorate of Births and Deaths in Freetown as part of ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
According to a public notice dated 31st July 2025, the NCRA’s headquarters has moved from No. 2 Walpole Street to a new office location at No. 28B Kingharman Road, adjacent to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs.
The Authority says the new site will improve accessibility and support the delivery of key civil registration services.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Births and Deaths has been relocated from 3 Wilberforce Street to No. 2 Walpole Street, the Authority’s former head office.
The NCRA reassured the public that all services relating to civil registration, vital statistics, and identity management will continue uninterrupted during the transition.
The Authority reiterated its commitment to providing quality, timely, and accessible services to citizens across Sierra Leone.
