Freetown, Sierra Leone – March 15, 2026 – The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has officially confirmed that Head Coach Mohamed Kallon has invited a 26-man squad of home-based players to begin intensive training on Monday, 16 March 2026.
The camp is in preparation for the upcoming FIFA Friendly Series scheduled in Azerbaijan later this month.
In a statement released by the SLFA Media Department, Coach Kallon emphasised the importance of evaluating local talent.
“All invited players are expected to report on time and come fully prepared for intensive training sessions, as the technical team continues to assess local inclusion for possible inclusion in the final squad,” the release stated.
The selected players, drawn exclusively from domestic clubs, will assemble in Freetown as the national team prepares for international exposure. This home-based group forms the core of the squad under review, with the technical staff expected to make final decisions on who travels to Azerbaijan.
