The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has today signed a 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 in support of this year’s FA Cup competition, which will now be known as the 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐅𝐀 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.
The partnership marks the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 that such a major corporate sponsorship has been secured for the country’s prestigious knockout competition, highlighting the growing commercial appeal of the game.
Under the agreement, 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 will provide 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 (𝐂𝐔𝐆) 𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐋𝐅𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 to facilitate efficient internal communication across the Association.
The telecommunications company will also deliver 𝟔𝟎 𝐌𝐛𝐩𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐋𝐅𝐀 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐦, significantly enhancing the Association’s operational and digital activities.
In addition, Orange Sierra Leone will activate a 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐕𝐀𝐒) and serve as the 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐅𝐀 𝐂𝐮𝐩, including branding rights and sponsorship of the 𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.
The partnership further introduces 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, including the integration of 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.
The agreement was formally signed at the 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧, by 𝐒𝐋𝐅𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐫. 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 and 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫é.
