In an exciting development for Sierra Leonean football, Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai Esq., Executive Director of Sports at the National Sports Authority, has traveled to Madrid, Spain, to solidify a groundbreaking partnership between La Liga club CD Leganés and Sierra Leone’s Luawa FC.
The collaboration, which aims to enhance opportunities for Sierra Leonean players, has also brought Mamadou Saidou Sow, a Sierra Leone international and former Leganés player, back into the fold to contribute to this initiative.
Guillermo Gazapo, Director of the Leganés Academy, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting its potential to foster talent and strengthen ties between the two clubs.
