Sierra Leone’s senior national team, the Leone Stars, will take part in the upcoming FIFA Series 2026 scheduled for March in Azerbaijan.
The West African side is set to open its campaign against Oman on 27 March 2026. The match will kick off at 15:00 local time at the Dalga Arena in Baku.
Following the opening fixture, Sierra Leone will return to action on 30 March 2026, where they will face either the host nation or St. Lucia, depending on the outcome of the first round.
Tournament officials confirmed that a victory for Sierra Leone against Oman would see them advance to face the winner of the Azerbaijan versus St. Lucia encounter. However, a defeat would place them against the losing side of that match.
The FIFA Series provides an important opportunity for Sierra Leone to test their squad and build international experience as they continue preparations for future competitions.
