In a decisive move to uphold campus discipline, Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, has expelled five students following their involvement in an incident of abusive language and physical altercation on campus.
The expelled students were identified as Adiza Blessing Aboki, a first-year Social Work student (Registration No. 58000); Amarachuku Linus, a first-year Engineering and Architecture student (Registration No. 55668); Chenyere E. Linus, a second-year student in the Faculty of Media Communication and Information Studies (Registration No. 53114); and Fatu Madienna Banqura, enrolled in the Certificate in Population Studies program (Registration No. 11149).
The university’s administration reiterated the importance of adhering to campus rules and regulations, emphasizing that violations leading to disciplinary actions would be taken seriously.
The administration urged students to remain mindful of their conduct to avoid being summoned before the Discipline Committee for investigation.
