Freetown, Sierra Leone – In a recent notice, Fourah Bay College, a prestigious institution under the University of Sierra Leone, has officially announced the commencement of the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
The academic year is set to kick off on Saturday, 28th October 2023.
The college administration has also issued an important reminder regarding continuing students.
Transcript printouts will be available for collection starting from Monday, 30th October, 2023, for those students who have completed their registration and paid full fees for the last academic year. However, the administration has strongly emphasized that students who have failed to fulfill their registration requirements will not be considered bona fide students. They are urged to settle their obligations promptly to continue their academic journey in the new year. In cases where students are unable to pay and register, they are encouraged to request a deferment of their course.
Additionally, Fourah Bay College has initiated the process of submitting final results for the graduating class of students to the Secretariat for publication and inclusion in the 2023 University Congregation.
Departments that have yet to submit their dissertation grades to facilitate the computation of final results are urged to do so immediately, as the deadline set by the Secretariat has already passed.
The college administration has expressed gratitude to all individuals who contributed to the successful completion of the 2022/2023 Academic Year and called upon everyone to work together to build on the achievements of the previous academic year.
