Freetown, Sierra Leone — In a significant move to enhance accessibility and efficiency in education, the Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), Conrad Sackey, has announced that results for the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) can now be accessed via SMS.
In a statement shared on social media, Minister Sackey expressed his enthusiasm for the new service. “Dear Parents, Guardians, and NPSE Candidates,” he wrote, “I’m pleased to inform you that you can now access your NPSE results quickly and conveniently via SMS.”
The Minister outlined the simple process for checking results, advising, “To check your NPSE results, simply text ‘Result’ to 468.”
This initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader efforts to improve the education system in Sierra Leone.
“This service is part of our ongoing efforts at the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education to make education more accessible and efficient for all,” Sackey added.
He also reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to providing quality education across the nation. “We are committed to ensuring that every child in Sierra Leone has the opportunity to receive the best education possible,” the Minister stated.
Minister Sackey concluded by thanking the public for their continued support. “Let’s continue to work together to build a brighter future for our children,” he urged.
The SMS service is expected to streamline the process of accessing exam results, making it easier for students and parents, particularly in remote areas, to receive timely information.
We proud of you sir
Congratulations to us all. But teachers need a living wages. What gone wrong with teachers’ remote allowances, free university education for teachers ‘ children, third term subsidies, teaching and learning materials etc?
