FREETOWN, Sierra Leone — In a recent development, Mrs. Musayeroh Barrie has been appointed as the Director General of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority by His Excellency the President, Brig. (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio.
The appointment was made in accordance with Section 22 (1) of the Civil Aviation Act, 2019. Mrs. Barrie’s appointment is subject to the approval of Parliament.
Upon receiving this honor, Mrs. Barrie is advised to get in touch with the Clerk of Parliament, who will facilitate a meeting with the Committee on Appointments and the Public Service of Parliament.
This meeting will deliberate on her appointment. Once Parliament grants its approval, Mrs. Barrie will be provided with further details regarding the Terms and Conditions of her appointment.
