Freetown, Sierra Leone – East End Lions Football Club have once again stamped their authority on Sierra Leonean football, clinching the 2024/2025 Leone Rock Premier League title in style.
The “Killers,” as they are fondly called, capped off a remarkable season under the leadership of head coach Mohamed Lamin Kamara (ML), finishing with an impressive 70 points.
Their campaign was marked by thrilling victories, dramatic comebacks, and moments that will live long in the memory of their passionate fan base.
At a ceremony held at the Approved School Field in Freetown, Premier League Board President Babadi Kamara congratulated the champions, praising their resilience and dedication throughout the season.
He also extended recognition to all participating clubs, emphasizing that “there is no loser” in the competition. Kamara thanked the Government of Sierra Leone, Leone Rock, the Premier League Board, the National Sports Authority, and all stakeholders for their support in making the league a success.
He further assured that preparations are underway for an earlier start to the next season to better align with international standards and practices.
For East End Lions, this latest triumph adds to their rich football history and reinforces their status as one of the country’s most successful and celebrated clubs.
