LUNGI – A fatal boat accident occurred yesterday, Friday 4 April 2025, claiming the life of Ramatu Bangura, who was traveling from Lungi.
According to reports, the speedboat she boarded capsized during the journey. While other passengers survived, Ramatu was tragically the only casualty.
Authorities and local volunteers are currently searching for her remains, which have yet to be recovered. Residents in Lungi, Tagrin, Ferry, and surrounding areas are urged to stay vigilant.
