Staff Sergeant Alhaji Koroma from the Eleventh Battalion of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) has entered a guilty plea during the ongoing Court Martial.
Charged with committing a Civil Offense (Count One) and Mutiny (Count Two), Staff Sergeant Koroma implored the Court, urging Judge Advocate Justice Mark Ngebah and President Julius Maada Bio to show mercy and grant him pardon.
Koroma claimed that he was coerced into the alleged actions by certain individuals.
This revelation unfolded during the second appearance of twenty-seven accused soldiers facing a total of 88 charges, including Mutiny, before the Court.
