In a bold operation led by the esteemed Local Unit Commander of Waterloo Police Division, CSP Mr. Ibrahim M. Sama, on Friday, September 1, 2023, law enforcement authorities descended upon the infamous Peppeh Wharf in Tombo.
Their mission: to eradicate over 50 illicit gathering spots where scores of young men and women engaged in the peddling and abuse of illegal drugs.
The resolute efforts of the Waterloo Police did not go unnoticed. In a remarkable show of solidarity, members of the community, both young and old, rallied alongside the police, assisting in the demolition of these dens of iniquity. Their actions were accompanied by resounding accolades for the exemplary leadership demonstrated by CSP Mr. Ibrahim M. Sama.
