Freetown, Sierra Leone – Starting August 16, the United States Embassy in Freetown will implement a new platform for scheduling visa appointments. Applicants will no longer use UStraveldocs for this purpose.
To facilitate the transfer of appointment and payment information to the new system, applicants are advised to take the following steps promptly:
– Profile Information: Ensure that all data entered in your profile is complete and accurate. If any corrections are needed, update your information immediately.
– Visa Fee Payments: If you have paid your visa fee but have not associated it with your profile, log in to your profile and enter the payment receipt number at step 8 of the scheduling process to link your payment.
– Group Coordinators and Families: Ensure that each dependent or applicant listed under a primary applicant’s profile has a unique email address. This may require updating the current email addresses. Contact the call center for assistance with updating information.
For the latest updates on these changes, please monitor the U.S. Embassy’s Facebook page and website.
