Freetown, Sierra Leone – September 14, 2025 — The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the official player registration periods for the 2025/26 Male and Female Premier League seasons, maintaining the same schedule as last year.
According to the SLFA, the first registration window will run from Friday, August 1, 2025, to Tuesday, October 21, 2025, while the second window will open on Monday, February 2, 2026, and close on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
These timelines apply to both male and female top-flight leagues.
In a public notice, the Association urged all clubs to adhere strictly to the deadlines, warning that no registrations or transfers will be processed outside the stipulated dates.
“This serves as a reminder to all clubs to fully comply with the established registration dates as previously communicated,” the statement read.
The SLFA also appealed to clubs and stakeholders to work together to preserve the integrity, transparency, and professionalism of Sierra Leonean football.
